The River

Four times in three days, that's the number of attempts I made to get the shot I had in mind here. I wanted the mountains in the background, the river in front, with tack-sharp detail in the grasses on the banks. I wanted a few clouds and some pretty sunrise colors, a fresh dusting of snow on the mountains. I had my mind set on the perfect picture. This is not that picture. It's just a tribute... for now.
