San Francisco Bay Area
Deer at Golden Gate
Not a composite!
This was a lucky encounter: right as we were packing up our gear after shooting sunrise from the Marin headlands, I noticed a deer popping up on a hill nearby. I rushed to get my telephoto lens on my camera and by the time I was ready for the shot two more deer had appeared. I could only take a few shots before the entire hill including the deer was covered in fog. I like how the bridge seems so enormous with respect to the deer. In fact, since there is still a few hundred meters between the deer and the bridge, the perspective actually makes the bridge seem smaller!
