Golden Gate love

Careful planning and timing paid off: only for a brief period each year one can see the sun go down right in the middle of the Golden Gate bridge like this. Fortunately, on the day we had planned to take the shot the weather was favorable and we were treated with a beautiful sunset.
If you look carefully, you can see that the sun is actually slightly off-center with respect to the bridge; a minute later the sun was a little lower and perfectly centered but I liked the distorted heart-like shape of the sun in this picture so much that this one became my favorite. I am still processing a timelapse video of this beautiful sunset, stay tuned!
